EmailGot a chance to meet a fellow Baltimore native Ed Hild. Since I had the rug pulled out from under me and wasn’t able to make it to this years SharePoint conference, I was excited to see Ed's presentation. He gave us a few minute rundown of what he presented at the SPCon (double bonus). He spoke on "Site Provisioning Workflow with Custom SharePoint Designer Activity" and unknowingly walked right into a project I was working on.
Basically Ed displays how to Admin level users the ability to give site collection/site owners the ability to request a new site and that site be provisioned and created by simply approving the workflow. Very cool read! also check this http://blogs.msdn.com/edhild/pages/using-oob-workflows-to-provision-sites.aspx
Thanks for stopping in Ed!
