I had the great pleasure of meeting Joel Oleson at the last Baltimore SharePoint Users Group meeting last week. Joel spoke on the top 10 Steps to Success, Avoiding Failed SharePoint Deployments. It was a great presentation. I was genuinely intreagued by how much random information Joel knew. He was asked a variety of questions and came out swinging each time. Thanks a bunch to Joel, Commvault and Bamboo for making that event a success.

After which a quick trip over to DuClaw for the game and a few drinks (and non southern style pulled pork sandwhiches). The idea of a SharePoint Ski trip out to whister even came up.  Like I said Joel, it can be just me for all I care, say the word I'm on a plane.

The link to Joels Presentation given that night can be found here. http://www.baltimoresug.org/Resources/pastsessions/Shared%20Documents/Teched%20AUS%20Brian%20and%20Joel%20Governance.pptx
