EmailMobileMe... touted, "Exchange for the rest of us".
So, let me get this straight, what you're saying Apple is essentially, Microsoft in your eyes, did something better than you, before you. WOW. I will go ahead and use this occasion to make the claim. By 2025 Apple will cease to exist. Maybe one day I'll write out my argument about why I think that is the case. Btw I own 5 ipods, so I'm not anti Apple.
The only other thing i'd like to make note of is this. So remember a few short months back when the smart tech world was basically saying stay away from the Iphone because of the lack of the most basic phone features and the next version will be 10x better (us windows folks know this drill)? But all the fan boys went out and paid the apple tax to buy the latest and greatest, then Mr. Jobs thanked you all with lowering the price after you already bought it?
Well it was hard not to say "We told you so..." but, we told you so. The new 3G Iphone, where even the commercial is kind of like an "F You". "the first phone to beat the iphone, it surf's the web and downloads data twice as fast, for half the price". In other words, yeah we know we made you overpay for an under featured phone but we'll make it up to you by getting you all riled up for a new one.
At least AT&T is allowing the trade up to a new phone if you bought it after May 27th 07, which basically means if you were the goofball sitting in line to get the first one. You're screwed.. but hey... you can say you bought the first iphone. Idiots.
