About 10 months ago i order a subscription of PC world magazine.  Figured it'd make for some good passive reading when I was bored (or in the bathroom).  Immediately when I got it i noticed a crazy amount of ads and very little substance.  Well I finally had time to count.  The April issue of PC mag had 108 pages (not including front and back cover). Of those 108 pages 49 pages were full blown full page ads.  Two more pages had half or quarter page ads.

This crazy amount of advertising spam didn't even include the hardly worth reading articles that were totally product and service biased (more advertising there....).

They sent me a re subscribe card the other day, at 12 bucks a year, a dollar an issue, I still have to say no.   I get you gotta pay for your business somehow but this is a little much.
